While many people know the story of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League, thanks to the beloved 1992 film A League of Their Own, the reality is that women and girls in baseball have long faced barriers. However, change is happening, and it’s happening right here in our own community.
The Philadelphia Liberty Girls Baseball Club has a group of dedicated players from the Mid-Atlantic region who are passionate about continuing their baseball journey. Together, they are working tirelessly to improve their skills, create lifelong friendships, and develop the confidence to pursue their dreams. But they can’t do it alone – they need your help.

Our focus is to ensure that every girl who wants to play baseball has the opportunity to do so, regardless of financial circumstances. While the players and their families are committed to fundraising, we are asking for your support to help cover essential costs, such as tournament fees, uniforms, insurance, and equipment.
